GROWING TO MEET STUDENTS’ NEEDS
At 135,000 square feet and six stories, CSUSM’s Extended Learning building will be the largest academic building on the CSUSM campus and the tallest building in San Marcos. It serves every CSUSM student as the new home to the university’s academic support centers as well as 13 classrooms, eight labs and 14 conference and study spaces. No state funds were used in the design, planning and construction of this learning center. Instead, it is the first academic building in California established through a public-private partnership. We look forward to the grand opening in the Fall of 2019!
At CSUSM, we value our deep connections to the community. Our programs – and our students – have long benefited from individual, business and government partnerships. The Extended Learning building stands as a testament to these important relationships and represents the collective commitment of university, government and business leaders to the students at CSUSM. It expands not only our educational opportunities today, but serves as a bridge to the possibilities for the future.
Expected Opening: Fall 2019
